The Democratic Club of Claremont mourns the loss of Zephyr Tate-Mann who served the Democratic Club of Claremont as Board Member, Vice-President and President before and during Barack Obama’s Presidency. She has been the long-time Vice-President of the Inland Valley Democratic HQ PAC and managed the operations of its campaign headquarters. Ms. Tate-Mann has been a member of the L.A. County Democratic Central Committee for many years, most recently representing Assessor Jeffrey Prang since his election to office. She was repeatedly elected by her Assembly District to the State Central Committee and was a hard worker for the Democratic Party.

A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, in Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 North Garey Avenue, Pomona (toddchapel.com).

Since 1953, we have been working to elect Democrats and support policies consistent with the ideals of the Democratic party. We meet the last Monday of every month for programs and discussions around policy priorities and candidates in local, state and national elections. Our meetings are social, and also provide an opportunity for learning and activism.

Joining the Democratic Club of Claremont puts you in the room to vote on key policy priorities, candidate endorsements and events to support Democrat policies and candidates. We are an all volunteer organization, so 100% of your dues and donations provide direct support to the club.
